To get things started here's a few rules I'd like you to follow. The rules are obligatory.

A request breaking the rules or not meeting the given picture guidelines won't be fullfilled

THE RULES:
1. You can request signatures, icons/avatars, headers and wallpapers
2. Only one request at a time. Wait at least two weeks before requesting again.
3. You must always provide me the pics for your graphic. HQ (high quality) ONLY
NO SELF-TAKEN PHOTOS
4. I don't make manga or anime graphics. I've never done those and I prefer real people.
5. If size (in pixels) isn't specified I choose for you.
6. Be patient. Give me at least 2-3 days to fill your request. I have a life too and may sometimes take my time with requests. Please, do not request if you're in a hurry.
7. Credit is always nice. You can credit me as RMH or Riikka (please, please spell it correctly!)
8. If you need to edit your request do so in your first post.
Don't forget to leave me a note that you've edited your post. Post either a new reply saying you edited your request or add "edited" on your original request post.

MY 2 requests for YOU.
1. You do not have to credit me, but if you do I'd love you to spell my name R-I-I-K-K-A correctly. The name is uncommon for English language, but I know you all can spell it if you try. The name is spelled in my signature too; akkiiR (read from right to left, aren't I smart little cookie...hehe)

2. Please do not give me pics of any kind to be used as the background of your graphic. The idea is good, but doesn't work in practise. Sorry.

High Quality picture guidelines

Since things get lost among the pages in my graphic request thread on DLS, it's hard to keep the rules and different guidelines in one place where everyone can see them at all times I'll post them here.
If you're not on my friend list you can see them always on this one page, cause I rarely make public entries. BUT if I someday have public entries on more than one page OR you're on my friends list you can always locate this entry from the tags.

Here's the actual guidelines.

I've ran into this problem so many times lately that here's a a little "guide" what is a HQ pic.
To make it easy I'll use examples to explain what I mean.

This picture is medium quality ( referring to its size) and quite clear. But it's still a little blurred around Christina's face and therefore not the best graphic material.

http://img358.imageshack.us/img358/7626/example1dx8.jpg

This picture is also medium quality, but it's clear and not blurred or pixeled. This one I could use.

http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/6987/example2cp3.jpg

This picture is high quality in size and also it isn't blurred or pixeled. This one I could use also.
http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/5425/example3xn2.jpg

Here's also a medium size pic, but as you can see the picture is very blurred and pixeled. I couldn't use this one.
http://img383.imageshack.us/img383/8876/example4ud6.jpg

This picture is HQ in size and in quality. These are the best kind of pics I'd like to make my graphics from.

http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/2289/example5dz8.jpg

So when you choose pics, pay attention to the picture's quality not it's size. If the picture is huge, but blurred and pixeled it's not good for graphics.
Therefore look for pics that are quite big, but also clear (not blurred or pixeled.)

Earlier this week I was reunited with my computer, it was moved a long with all my other stuff to my bf's place, which is officially our place now. I will get my Photoshop back as soon as the hard disc from my comp is installed to my bf's computer. He promised to look into it today. I hope he will get it done today so I'll have my PS back with asap! lol This way I get my Photoshop back with all resources already loaded to the program and I get faster back into making graphics. I'm having some really syptoms already from the lack of PS. lol

Once the hard disc is installed and working you guys will be the first to know. I can't wait getting back into making graphics. I hope someone's still around and would like to own their own piece of my work. ((:

See you all around!!!!

Love ya'll, Riikka
