Since things get lost among the pages in my graphic request thread on DLS, it's hard to keep the rules and different guidelines in one place where everyone can see them at all times I'll post them here.
If you're not on my friend list you can see them always on this one page, cause I rarely make public entries. BUT if I someday have public entries on more than one page OR you're on my friends list you can always locate this entry from the tags.
Here's the actual guidelines.
I've ran into this problem so many times lately that here's a a little "guide" what is a HQ pic.
To make it easy I'll use examples to explain what I mean.
This picture is medium quality ( referring to its size) and quite clear. But it's still a little blurred around Christina's face and therefore not the best graphic material.

This picture is also medium quality, but it's clear and not blurred or pixeled. This one I could use.

This picture is high quality in size and also it isn't blurred or pixeled. This one I could use also.

Here's also a medium size pic, but as you can see the picture is very blurred and pixeled. I couldn't use this one.

This picture is HQ in size and in quality. These are the best kind of pics I'd like to make my graphics from.

So when you choose pics, pay attention to the picture's quality not it's size. If the picture is huge, but blurred and pixeled it's not good for graphics.
Therefore look for pics that are quite big, but also clear (not blurred or pixeled.)
